My favourite albums for each year I've been alive
There's a meme going around in which you name your favourite album from each year you've been alive. As a lover of music I just had to do this. The albums I name before I discovered music are either those that I remember from my parents' collection, or imagine they would have, or that I heard later on. Some years are blank simply because none of the albums from that year connected. Some years I had to pick 2 or 3 albums - it was too tough to call. In fact, the whole 1970s and 1980s was unfairly full of fantastic albums.
This list took a great deal of time and effort to compile. I urge you that if you decide to take the torch and compile a similar list on your own blog (or other online resource), please put a link to it in the comments.

Please tell me you're kidding about the William Shatner year.
I threw that in there because
a) I wanted to see if anyone would notice;
b) It was the only album from that year that I recognized;
c) It was better than leaving the year blank
LOL
