One of the draws to places like Las Vegas, even if you don't gamble, are the buffets. Back in the day, it was possible to get a huge buffet meal for $6 at some casinos. Those days are mostly gone, but the buffet can often be a good deal for those who want variety.
Of course we have casinos here in Calgary, but I never gave them a second thought as a dinner venue until this week. A friend mentioned how much they liked the buffet at the Grey Eagle Casino, so Darlene and I decided to give it a try.
Not bad at all. For $15 per person, the selection was good, the quality was better than good, the service was superb. They have different themes on certain nights of the week and some are slightly more expensive, but still great values in my opinion. Their web site has more details.
