I found yet another contender in the new field of electric motorcycles. The Zero S is all-electric and can hit speeds of 90km/h (55mph) and has a range of about 80km (50 miles). It will fully charge in less than 4 hours.
I'm still waiting to see what Honda will be offering as an electric bike.

is it for sale in Canada? If i understand the electric powered vehicle part of the regulations to put an electric vehicle;e on the road in Canada it can not go more then 40Kmph. I wonder if that rule only applies to manufactures?
Now I fixed my Typo's before I hit the post button, what happened?
I've taken a look at some government documents and could find no concrete evidence that electric cars absolutely cannot go faster than 40km/h. It seems that electric cars (for now) are limiting their top speed to meet specific American and Canadian Low Speed Vehicle or Neighbourhood Electric Vehicle standards, but they don't say why. The Zenn, a Canadian built electric car is an example of this.
The Zero S bike is not yet for sale in Canada.
