20. I'd like to fly a plane someday. Yet, I don't enjoy fair rides. Weird huh?The closest I've ever gotten to flying is on my computer's flight simulator program. Which is better than nothing, I suppose.
Some day, someone's going to offer me a chance to climb into the cockpit of an aircraft and help out.
Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?

Go hang out the local small airport and make friends with the pilots. Offer to pay for gas to go up and try your hand at flying a plane. Or barter something airplane fuel is spendy. Best of luck and watch both ways before crossing the runway.
Call me Krazy, but I think your dislike of carnival rides, and like of planes might have something to do with control. What do you think Karl?
