It's a sad day in the Plesz household. My beloved Montreal Canadiens hockey team is out of the playoffs following a loss to those pesky Toronto Maple Leafs.
My official review of the season is this - nobody gave the Canadiens a hope in hell of making the playoffs, let alone racking up 42 wins. That's what really gets in my craw, they have more wins than the team who makes the playoffs............. go figure. But they did good this year. Saku Koivu played great considering he almost lost an eye last year. Sheldon Souray showed everyone what a threat he is on the power play. Their power play rocked. We saw two new players start to show their stuff (Latendresse and Lapierre). Samsonov was a huge disappointment. Bottom line, I think they did well. They have something to build on.
Good luck next year boys and enjoy the early golf.............
