This could set a new standard in usability

I don't think I've seen this much hype in a long time - Apple is crowing about their new iPhone, due out in June (no idea who's carrying them in Canada). Take a look at the official site here. The demos of this thing are worth checking out. I have to admit, it is pretty funky looking. A phone, mp3 player, camera, PDA with the characteristics of a mini Mac, complete with wi-fi access too. I've read that the Japanese are not impressed with the item, saying they've had technology like this for years. But you've gotta admit, the interface is brilliant (no stylus) and the Mac feel gives it a lot of appeal. It has some features that are just plain cool. Could this gadget steal a huge market share? Time will tell.............
