Sickness + work = tiredness
Perhaps you've noticed my posting frequency has sort of slowed down. I'm suffering from one of those nasty sore throat dealies. But of course life goes on and I still had to teach a class yesterday, help a client with a new computer and so forth. But by the end of the day I was wiped, so it was "bedtime for bonzo".
Speaking of helping clients with their computers, I have really grown to love this Remote Assistance tool that comes with Windows XP. What's really nice is if you and your "person in need of help" are both using MSN Messenger ver 6.2 or better, they can invite you to remote assist them right from within the program. Let me tell you, there is no greater power than the power toruin .....errrr I mean fix another person's computer right from the comfort of your own home. And there's no dress code, so you don't even have to wear pants! Of course, it's best to keep that little secret to yourself, otherwise you might find that the other person can't focus on the computer problem anymore.....
