Here's a coincidence for you. We got home from work yesterday and spotted our next-door neighbour had put their old barbeque out by their garbage can in the back alley. We found this quite funny because we were about to do the same thing with our old barbeque, having just bought a new one in the last week. Later in the day, our neighbour on our other side said, "how are you getting rid of your barbeque, because I need to get rid of one too". So by the end of the day, I expect we'll be seeing 3 barbeques out by the garbage bins in the back alley.

I've seen or been told about this in a few instances today, so I thought I better post it. Google Trends allows you to observe a graphed trend of a search term. Or, seperate two terms with a comma and it will show you a comparative graph of the two - such as in this example, where more people searched on Canada than US.

Part of the problem with instant messaging is that it typically requires a client (software running on your PC) to work. If you want to connect to MSN, you need MSN Messenger, ICQ client for ICQ, Yahoo! Messenger, yadda yadda. You could use a third party program like Trillian or Miranda to combine all your messaging networks into one client. But what if your work doesn't allow messenger clients? You could always use a web messenger, but that only works for one service at a time. What if you're on the road and need to use someone else's PC?

Pink Floyd's landmark Dark Side Of The Moon album scored another major record in America last week (ends05MAY06) by becoming the first recording to spend 1,500 weeks on the Billboard charts. The 1973 album was the highest debut on the Top 200 when it entered the chart at number 98. The album stayed on the chart for 736 successive weeks before it fell out of the Top 200 in 1988. Dark Side of The Moon has since notched up a further 759 non-consecutive weeks on the chart.
