Dubai airport free of invasive scanners

Here's a switch - because full body airport scanners "contradict Islam, and out of respect for the privacy of individuals and their personal freedom" the head of the Dubai police force airport security assured travellers that Dubai would not be using them.

Isn't that weird? Dubai has more respect for privacy than the West does in this instance.
