I've spoken about PRT before. The concept is that 'last mile' public transit makes rapid transit even more effective and it's not very expensive to implement.Just recently, someone gave a presentation showcasing 3 areas where PRT could benefit Calgary. I particularly like the idea of tying 2 C Train stations, Foothills Medical Centre, the motel village, the U of C and the sports facilities. If that included the area where the Children's Hospital is, it would be perfect.
