Is it just me, or does it seem that every time someone calls the Conservative Party on something inappropriate, all their supporters can do is 'neener neener' by saying stuff like, "Yeah but what about when the Liberals did it?"
The Liberals did a lot of things and they paid the price by not getting re-elected. Full stop.
The Conservatives got elected on a platform of integrity, accountability and trust. Yet they seem to play the same political games as those that came before them, perhaps even teaching the Liberals a few new tricks along the way. Yeah, that platform of promises looks pretty hollow now.
So stop blaming the Liberals for everything that goes wrong while you're in the driver's seat. The Conservatives are in power, therefore they must take responsibility for what they do. And before y'all whine that the Liberals complain too much, you should
rewind the clock and listen to yourself back in the day when you were in opposition.
