Epcor, the water utility in Edmonton, monitored water consumption in that city during the gold medal Olympic Men's hockey game and published a graph of said water consumption. Apparently up to 80% of Canadians were watching that hockey game. So it stands to reason that the viewers would all go to the bathroom between periods.
