Underwear bomber incident may not be what it seems

Of course you knew the conspiracy theories would spring up about the whole holiday underwear bomber guy who tried to blow up a flight from Amsterdam to Detroit, right?

Well, there may be some truth to one theory, which suggests that the whole thing was staged to perhaps ease the transition from regular scanners to full body scanners. Not quite sure yet? Listen to what lawyer couple Kurt and Lori Haskell, who were on the flight and witnessed some questionable activities both before and after the flight. It's an interesting account.

The Haskell's blog is here. The interview is here.

How much you wanna bet Umar gets a deal?

Still won't entice me to fly until my sister gets her B&B up and running in Hawaii, then I will essay a flight. I'm not afraid of flying, it just a huge PITA. The only revenge is to sit there and eat your gourmet salad and sip your chenin blanc. But by them I'm sure they won't allow wine or lunch to be brought on board. Why not just give everyone 80 mgs of Benadryl for the duration? Hmmm?
