- Look for relevant information on airline website, find very little.
- Call the airline. Get message that due to increased call volume, you have to call again tomorrow.
- Don't take that crap from airline, keep calling until you get through.
- Meanwhile, work out, do laundry, make lunch. Be thankful you're not working today.
- When airline answers and you pose specific questions, be ready to be put on hold for 5 minutes while inept airline employee asks supervisor for answer.
- Per question.
- Get told that all of the information you require is available from Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA).
- Respond that in fact, CATSA insisted you check with your airline.
- Get somewhat satisfactory answers, but delivered with complete lack of conviction and confidence that the answers are correct.
- Ask if chances are that in a few days this information will be obsolete.
- Answer from airline is yes. You are directed to call again the day before your flight.
- Realize you work the day before your flight.
- Cry.
