Apple may not fix your Mac and could void your warranty if the cause is cigarette smoke residue. They are citing the health and safety of the technicians, since nicotine is on OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration)'s list of hazardous substances.Luckily, I don't smoke, so I think I'm good.
