Shocker! A clip from the boingboing article:"A new British independent poll conducted by Ipsos Mori concluded that the people who do the most illegal downloading also buy the most music. This is in line with many other studies elsewhere and is easy to understand: people who are music super-fans do more of everything to do with music: they see more live shows, listen to more radio, buy more CDs, buy more bootlegs of live shows, buy more t-shirts, talk about music more, do more downloading -- all of it."
If Amazon or some other online agency would make the widest possible selection of music in mp3 format available to me for a reasonable price (sorry - $0.99 is not a reasonable price for a compressed audio file) and make it available in Canada as one-stop music shopping, I would stop downloading music. Seriously, I would. Give me what Amazon (in the US) offers at $3 per album and we'll talk. Until then........
