Using radio signals to save lives

Researchers at the University of Utah have found a way to use wi-fi radio signals to detect movement behind walls.

Although this application is still in its infancy, there are hopes this application of wi-fi frequencies could be used by rescue teams in the future to help locate people who are injured but alive in the rubble of buildings etc.
