O Rly?

What I find fascinating about people like Orly Taitz (Lawyer, Dentist, and Real Estate Agent), one of the most outspoken members of the 'birther' movement, is not that she spouts unsubstantiated things about Obama. Because it seems quite probable that she actually believes her own accusations. Which begs the question - is she mad as a hatter? If the answer is an obvious 'yes', it begs another question - are her followers mad too? The answer appears to be yes on all counts.

One could surmise from this set of conclusions that in America (and I'm not picking on the US here because I want to, but the media loves to focus the microscope on the bizarre) you don't have to be crazy to become famous, but it sure helps.

In her latest lawsuit filing, the judge not only threw the case out, but cautioned Orly not to file again, with a threat of sanctions.

I find it hilarious that her first name is practically identical to the internet phrase 'O Rly?'

Maybe I need to get a degree from a non-accredited institution, come up with some far reaching conspiracy theory and get the attention of the media for my 15 minutes of fame. The problem is, I'm just not clever insane enough to come up with anything brilliant.

[Update] It gets better - the client didn't even authorize Ms. Taitz to file on their behalf. Even better still - Ms. Taitz in essence accused the judge of being the victim of political pressure from the illigitimate government. The judge is now on Ms. Taitz' case, ready to slap a $10,000 fine unless she comes up with a good reason not to.

They don't write network TV sitcoms this good......
