North America is talking about alternative sources of energy to meet the increasing demands of the expected 'electric economy', which will likely include electric cars in the future. Our society is also under pressure to switch to energy sources that have a smaller carbon footprint, which is making things like solar, wind, hydro and nuclear look better by each passing year. But the one option nobody seems to be talking about, which BC and Alberta have a great potential to exploit, is geothermal.
I'd like to know why. It seems like a no-brainer.
