Imagine batteries that partly recharge from the air

A new battery technology invented in Scotland uses oxygen from the surrounding air to help recharge and thus prolong the capacity of the battery to at least 10 times current capabilities. The technology is still about 5 years off, but could revolutionize battery size and capacity.
