Watching a child learn is awe-inspiring

I am mesmerized watching our grand-daughter Olivia learn stuff as the days and weeks go by. My favourite memory (so far) is when she saw us snapping our fingers. She looked at our hands, heard the noise it was making and realized she didn't quite know how to make her hands emit the same noise. So she improvised. She made the motions with her hands, but made the clicking sound with her tongue.

In the picture, she's playing with the shaped blocks and sorter ball.

Smart kid.
