The folks who manage the Canada Pension Plan fund were on watch while the fund lost $17.2 billion (down to $105.5 billion) in the last fiscal year. So the 5 executives who run the pension fund lost 31% of their bonuses this year. They'll only be getting $8.5 million in bonuses between them in 2009, down 31% from the $12.4 million they got in 2008.Some suggest the figures are even more insulting when you consider the other bonuses that will be paid over the next 3 years (it's complicated).
