The cops in Carrollton OH asked Verizon to help trace a sick, possibly dying man using his cellphone. Verizon refused, saying that they couldn't turn on his phone because he had an unpaid cell phone bill. They only agreed to the trace after an officer agreed to pay $20 toward the bill.Yeah. This is what I like to refer to as 'free bad publicity'.
The back of the (totally unrelated) van says, "Verizon sucks... can you hear me now?!"
