PadMapper is a very nice mashup of craigslist rental listings and Google Maps. There's really not much more to say here. It probably only works for listings that include an address though - which not all of them do (note to craigslist listers).Wow, I bet Darlene would have liked to know about this nifty tool many weeks ago when she first started looking for a place for our spawn to live.....

I took a look and the first one I clicked on had the location in the wrong quadrant of the city. The address was in the North West and it was showing it in the SW. over all pretty useful

According to a colleague who's looking for a place right now, apparently a number of rentals posted on Craigslist are fronts for Nigerian scams. Seriously.
Yes, it's true. The clues are:
-landlord out-of-country
-rental details too good to be true
-want cash up front via Western Union in exchange for keys
-pictures or details cloned from another ad
-request for personal information such as credit background
-contact number overseas (especially Nigeria)
I believe this piggy backs on the MLS Renters section... same gui like look.
