When you're in prison, you get to reflect on the prison system and the justice system. Conrad Black has time to do just that, and based on this excerpt from his latest article, he's not too thrilled with it.
I just love his vocabulary. Here's a taste:
"The system is based on the plea bargain: the barefaced exchange of incriminating testimony for immunity or a reduced sentence. It is intimidation and suborned or extorted perjury, an outright rape of any plausible definition of justice."
