I'm an Air Miles collector. I feel like a sheep. Yes, I know, you're really not getting anything for 'free' with these loyalty rewards programs, but I'm finding that over time, the value received for the Air Miles I'm collecting seem to be getting worse and worse. First, the deal they had with West Jet evaporated, so we can no longer fly anywhere West Jet flies for 1600 air miles. But there are more and more restrictions on destinations too. Example? The only eligible destination in Mexico is Mexico City. Huh?Is anyone cashing in on their credit using any other point system that they find a good value for the money spent?

We have American Express miles which I can move to all sorts of different airlines or hotels, even merchandise. Do you have Canadian Express? :)xznnrk

I've always wondered if the 5% cash back option was any good...
They switched that credit card to 20% off all flights, with no restrictions at all. I kinda wish it was more than 20% but the no restriction thing has made it way easier for me to actually find a flight to book!
