Timing

I have such great neighbours. On one side, they announced to us their intention to replace their white 4 foot fence between our yards (starting to show it's age) with a nice 6 foot cedar fence. They offered that we could get in on the action to redo our back fence and gate if we were up for it. The estimate was so fantastic - we just had to jump at it.

Coincidentally, we intended to build a 6 foot cedar fence to replace our current 4 foot white one next year, thinking we couldn't afford it this year with all the other work we got done.

The new fence should be done a week from now.
