Looking forward to the next session Mr Prentice?

Michael Geist wrote a great summary about how bill C-61 (Canada's new DMCA-like law) kills many everyday consumer uses in today's Toronto Star.

This law will be debated this fall's session in Parliament.

A recent CTV story on the topic is here.

I voted for Mr. Prentice. I even had a large sign on my lawn.

He has lost my vote. I wonder if there are enough intelligent people in Calgary North riding that will boot him out in the next election based on his actions.

(Probably not)

Unfortunately, I don't think enough people even understand the implications of this bill. Big media have done a lousy job reporting the story. Hopefully, the protesters bring it back into the spotlight this fall. If there is an election, a message needs to be sent.
