RPM 21

This is the biggest selling album never to have generated a top 10 single.

Name it.

[update] I may as well eat crow on this episode of RPM after twice getting correct answers other than what I was looking for. The album I was looking for was in fact Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. It just goes to show you that you can't always trust the accuracy of a music trivia game's questions.

What? Did you think I came up with these all by myself?

My guess would be AC/DC 's "Back In Black" which sold 42 million copies yet only reached number 15 with the single "Rock 'N' Roll Ain't Noise Pollution"

I'm a little embarrassed. Mitch is actually right. It IS Back in Black, but that's not the answer I had. So points to Mitch.

There is another top selling album that fits the question if anyone wants to take a whack at it.

Well then, you MUST be thinking of Pink Floyd's "Dark Side Of The Moon"
40 million sold
#13 "Money"

Y'all are killin' me with these unexpected (but correct) answers. Dark Side of the Moon qualifies as well, but also was not the one I was looking for.

Anyone else? You're all cheating and looking at one of my older posts, aren't you?

I was about to guess Sgt.Pepper as well as Led Zeppelin IV.
I don't think any of the songs from Sgt. Pepper were released as singles,(were they?) nor was Stairway To Heaven.
