You know all those folks in the US getting sued or receiving DMCA take-down notices courtesy of the entertainment industry? Well, researchers have just proved that the methods they employ to decide who gets notified / sued are quite flawed.

In plain English - the entertainment industry is lying about who they accuse of illegally sharing files - which by the way is illegal in and of itself. Why does the entertainment industry get away with it? Because the entertainment industry has money. They also have friends in government. Whose campaign contributors include.........
