Another record broken in Calgary

The largest continuous building foundation concrete pour in Canadian history (3rd largest in the world) is happening this weekend in Calgary.

It will take a minimum of 30 straight hours of continuous pumping from 1700 loads of concrete, carried by a rotating fleet of 120 trucks, totalling 14,000 cubic metres (500,000 cubic feet). This will form the foundation of the new Bow (Encana) building in downtown Calgary.
