Message to the entertainment industry

You guys are really starting to piss me off. The DMCA was the worst piece of legislation ever passed in American history and you folks have done your greedy best to abuse it to the full extent that you are capable.

I fully understand and agree that content owners have the right to protect their copyrighted works, but now you're even resorting to going after fair use works on the internet with guns blazing. I've lost count of the number of short film clips that have disappeared from sites like YouTube because of fraudulent take down notices which Google et al are too busy or afraid to challenge. You have the audacity to issue take down notices even for material that you have no rights to.

It's a grandiose abuse of law and it's illegal. The reason you get away with it is because of your arsenal of lawyers and lobbyists and the hands you have in crooked politicians' pockets. It's a shameful display of greed and abuse of power. You don't even realize the free advertising gift-horse you're kicking in the mouth when you pull this type of nonsense.

Enjoy it while you can. Your continued attempts to push the envelope of what you can get away with will backfire sooner or later and when it does - I'll be near the front of the line of people laughing at you. Which I will have filmed for posterity and uploaded to YouTube.......
