Things getting ridiculous now.....

Just when you thought the music copyright issue couldn't get any more bizarre, here's a story of a garage in the UK being sued over its mechanics using personal radios while working and that the music, protected by copyright, could be heard by colleagues and customers. This amounts to the "playing" or "performance" of the music in public and as such they're guilty of infringing copyright.

Why can't I sue the individual who insists on playing rap on their car stereo at 120 decibels? I really don't want to hear it, but I have to anyway.......

Best buy headphones.

Headphones in the car? Unsafe and illegal. At work - not always practical. Or safe. Wearing headphones as a mechanic could pose some safety issues.
