Medical mystery needs some attention

If I could champion a medical advance, it would be this - I'd like the medical community to come up with a way to determine why you are experiencing a headache. It's one thing to take a pain reliever to numb the experience. But headaches usually happen for a reason - they're usually an indication that some thing's wrong. Sometimes, it's something you can't do anything about, like people who experience headaches when the weather changes. But other times it's something that you could be doing to make things better. Dehydration often leads to headaches. Early signs of disease can lead to headaches. They can happen when your immune system is down.

I'd like to know why I'm having a headache when it happens so I can do something to combat the cause, not the effect.

Who's with me?

Yes, I'm experiencing one right now...... it's lasted for 2 days so far.
