It's just not on TV.Last night I decided to do a Loose Moose double header. Now that their fall season has started, Loose Moose puts on 2 shows on the first Friday of each month. They have the regular Micetro Improv show from 8pm until 10pm, then at 10:30pm there's a show called Friday Night Late, with Moosians Rob Mitchelson and A.J. Demers.
Friday Night Late is basically a live talk show / variety show with a live band and guests from around town. Last night they had roller girls and a local comic book writer (my apologies for not remembering his name). The show includes a monologue, skits and musical performances too and lasts about an hour. It was a nice breath of fresh air and only costs $10 per person!
Some day I hope to become part of their schtick to do a recurring guest character a-la Larry 'Bud' Melman or something. Well, that's my dream.......
