Gah-reeen!

I took this picture to demonstrate a few things. First, that Europe has many models of cars that North Americans do not - even from familiar brands. Here we have a Volkswagen Lupo.

Second that people will buy cars in a colour to match their toys. In his case, the owner chose a Lupo the colour of their Kermits and other assorted plush toys.

Thoughts?

No it isn't. They have a Golf too. And a Polo, Eos, Touran, Sharan, Caravelle and the Phaeton (which I don't recall whether N.A. has or not). Then there's the other familiar models. I never did find the Lupo as a current model, so it may be non-UK.

The lupo has been there for a while, it might have been discontinued and that might be why you don't find it current. If I rembmer well, it's It's a 3 cylinders super fuel efficient.
(Update: quick gogle check confirms that it's been replaced by the Fox in 2005. The Lupo was doing 78 mpg!)

They've got tons of fuel-efficient choices like that, that we don't have here... almost every company has a smaller car there than here (Audi A2, Mercedes class A, , etc. Carl, you should check if they have a Hummer H4... no, probably not!)

Charles you're absolutely right. There are many makes and models of cars here that do not exist in N.A. and they are predominately small and fuel efficient - as you would expect considering the price of fuel, the width of some of the roads here and the size of typical parking spots (both in car parks and on the street).
