People keep asking us if we got to see any shows while we were in Vegas last week. We didn't - not because we didn't want to, but because there wasn't much going on during our stay. There's much more going on between Thursday and Sunday than between Monday and Thursday. But I did manage to find out that Bodies: The Exhibition was on at the Tropicana. Darlene said we were so going there. Who am I to argue?
Bodies: The Exhibition was pretty wild. I'd like to personally thank the person who invented the process so we could see what the parts of the body really look like. Didn't realize how much junk gets absorbed by the lungs, even in a non-smoker. I won't even bother telling you what the smoker's lung looked like..... Another part I found fascinating was a body (form) where they found a way to show only the veins, arteries and blood vessels in the whole body. It looked so cool.
Anyway, if you don't think you'd be weirded out by seeing actual preserved body parts up close, be sure to check out this exhibition if you get a chance.

Oh, that grossed me out. That exhibition was in my town, and it kept on getting extended. I couldn't wait till it left. Even though I don't live close to the museum that had it, just the b & w ads in the newspaper were grossing me out.
My former nanny went, with her husband. He's studying a medical-related field and they got free tickets at school.
