I've been seeing American news stories about the record price of gasoline down there.
If it makes you feel any better, the price of gas in Vancouver (the most expensive major city in Canada) is $1.23CAD per litre, which equates to $4.20USD per US gallon.
I've heard talk that by August, we could see prices at $1.30 or more. Wanna talk about gouging?

Contrary to popular belief, hybrids are not as efficient in the long run as your traditional vehicle. If you want to feel like your doing your part for the environment without "Greenpeacing" yourself to a tree in Clayquot Sound then go for it, but it will cost more.
Yeah, I know.....
As I drove home to Vancouver from being out in the lower mainland all day Sunday we had the price of gas at 1.30 . Personally this pisses me right off and makes me happy beyond belief that I walk to work in 6 minutes and can walk to pretty much everything I need in 20 minutes or less. My car is going to collect a lot of dust.
