Needle-free future?

Here's some exciting news. Diabetics who received stem-cell therapy were able to stop taking insulin, after their bodies started to produce the hormone naturally again. The best part is - the stem cells come from your own body.

I know a certain someone that might be interested in that........

It IS interesting, but far from use with the general public. And, unfortunately, they are only testing on Type I's who were diagnosed as adults, not who have been diabetic for many years. I have to admit I have become pessimistic about all the cures that are announced (every year!!). I think the drug companies buy out the patents and hush it all up to keep us diabetics buying insulin. hey, they're keeping us alive, it's ok, right? Is it? Huh? Phooey.
