One receives a point for every variable in the order—complexity is rewarded—and a deduction for every clarification the server requests.
For example: "I’d like two eggs over medium, please; bacon, crisp; home fries; rye toast, buttered; a small grapefruit juice; and a coffee."
Damn. I've been playing this game for a long time and never getting credit for it. Seriously.... Ricky's: "I'll have a double egger, over hard, with sausages very well done - aww heck, butterfly them, chunky hash browns, brown toast and a coffee with cream and it looks like we need silverware..." That's an easy 10 points right there.
My servers love me.

I do this all the time. Servers love me. The only thing I ask is the variety of salad dressings, and that is only if I am second to order. If someone at my table has already ordered salad, I have the dressing picked out by the time the server gets to me. Plus, I tend to order the same thing all the time.
