91. My dad moved out when I was 18.
I really feel for folks whose parents divorced. It happened to me too. At first, I thought I was to blame. It's a long story, but my parents did not see eye to eye in how I should be raised. I'll admit, I didn't make it easy for them. But the day I left to join the military at 18, my Dad was plotting his escape. It was rough. I had no intentions of allowing my relationship with him to wane, but his new girlfriend had other ideas. There were ups and downs and just when we thought things might get better, we were smacked back into reality by another let-down. Fact is, I haven't spoken to my father in over 13 years. I can't even tell you if he's still alive. I can tell you one thing though - it sucks going through most of your life without a father. I'm sure my sister and brother would agree.
Sorry, I didn't mean to get all down on you all - no need to be sad - I'm over it really. Just reporting the facts.

I think he's still alive....but it would make it easier if he wasn't, don't you think? Then we could stop wondering and playing "what if?" games. He's working "security" at the airport, U.S. arrivals or something...driving the cart for the people who can't walk, Luc said. He sees him, sometimes, but Dad doesn't know him. H.
