A woman in Atlantic Beach, Florida, upset that her (12 year old) niece had to see the vulgar title of a well-known, award winning play on the marquee of a local theatre, demanded that said theatre must change the name on the marquee.The play? The Vagina Monologues. The new displayed title? The HooHaa Monologues. The point of the play? An open discussion about said part of the female anatomy, meant to bust up some of the stigma surrounding the term. The irony.....
The theatre should have given free tickets to the woman instead.
