Statistics Canada just released figures for unemployment. The national rate is 6.1%In Calgary the rate is 2.6%. I've said this before, but the phenomenon is continuing - it's very hard to find a place that isn't visibly advertising for available positions. If you do plan to move here, bring a pile of money for a house because costs are astronomical and rental units are essentially non-existent.
