The American Environmental Protection Agency acknowledged they might lower the health standards for lead air pollution. The EPA says it might be justified "given the significantly changed circumstances since lead was listed in 1976" as an air pollutant. They say concentrations of lead in the air have dropped more than 90 percent in the past 2 1/2 decades.
So that's how it works? Reduce a pollutant for a while, then let it build up again? What - is mother nature getting spoilt by our measures? [raises hand] Quick question EPA...... you will be keeping that extra lead inside your borders, yes?
