Every once in a while you come across a tool on the web that just seems too good to be true. Super is one of those tools. It's basically a front end for a bunch of open source converters that would be easy for the average user to use if it had a decent graphical interface. Super provides that interface. Why should you care? Ever wanted to convert an .avi file to a .mp4? How about a .mov to a .swf? Done and done. Get ready for the best part............ FREE! This nifty little app dances circles around other tools that actually cost money. I used it to convert an .avi to .mp4 with no problem whatsoever. It is a little overwhelming at first (so many choices) but it's really a piece of cake. Fernando Cassia wrote a pretty good article on how it works and how to use it here.
