Here's a site that gives you the nutritional information on McDonald's foods (from the horse's mouth). It's an eye opener. If you ate a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese (730), a large fries (570) and a large Chocolate Triple Thick Shake (1160) for lunch, you've just swallowed
2460 calories. That's what a 217 pound male is allowed to intake for
the whole day! I'm not even going to get into the Trans Fat, Cholesterol and Sodium stats for any of their foods.

Yeah, I ordered myself a milkshake as a treat awhile back, knowing it was sweet, but when I checked the info at home, it was almost 100 grams of carbs. Crikey. I often try to limit my carbs to 100 in a day, if I can.....no more milkshakes for me. Heidi
