Still drooling....

Back in July, I mentioned the Tesla Roadster, an all-electric sports car that was being developed by entrepreneurs in the US. What makes this car special is that it is not your stereotypical boring electric car. It rocks (read my first post, mentioned above, for the specs). I found some video footage of the thing finally, here and here. The car costs $100,000 but they admit the high price is paying for the move toward mass production. Even more exciting, Tesla is working on a solar option that would produce more energy than the car would ever need for daily commutes. Tesla have sold out of their entire stock of 2007 cars. They indicate that they are planning to introduce a sedan in the next few years.

Message to Tesla Motors: If you ever want to open a dealership in Canada, call me.
