The Hubble space telescope has taken some amazing pictures over the years. Space.com has some of the better pics here and CBC highlights some of the more recent good ones here. Pictured is a 'deep field' shot - a million second long exposure to capture the galaxies furthest away that existed during the early ages of the universe. Those dots of light aren't stars - they're galaxies.

It boggles the mind
