1 October, 2006. The day Karl bought his first robot. Yeah, I decided to splurge and go get the Roomba Discovery. I'd been shopping around and some stores had it, but very few stocked it. It retails for $400 in Canada. We found it at Linens & Things - the last unopened box. Then Darlene tells me we have a coupon for 20% off in a flyer at home. The flyer is sitting in the recycle bin in our basement. Off to fetch the flyer I go. When I get back to buy the thing, it rings in at $50 less than marked. SCORE! $350, minus 20%........... damn, it sure pays to recycle. The guides were smiling upon me today.I'll submit a report once Rosie has finished her first few cleanings........
