Trip report part 1

So our first stop was in Spokane, Washington. This city has been a pleasant surprise for us on our journeys to the coast. It has a nice downtown area and a great park along the river - which during this visit, was hosting the "Pig Out in the Park" food exhibition, just like A Taste of Calgary - only much better folks. On the way to the park from our hotel, we passed through the River Park Square Mall again. On the river side of the mall is a place called the Sawtooth Grill, which purports to have legendary burgers. Say no more. I decided it was time to put that claim to the test. They passed with flying colours. The burger was awesome, the fixin's and the bun were as fresh as you could hope for. I had originally given The Onion the title of best burger in Spokane........... not anymore.
